Feb 7-2012, ISO27001 Certification

February 7th, 2012 - iWelcome now ISO 27001 certified

iWelcome has successfully certified itself for ISO 27001. The ISO 27001 certification further demonstrates iWelcome's commitment to information security. iWelcome applies the highest standards to ensure security and quality of service. The platform as well as the processes and activities within the iWelcome organization are being monitored constantly for information security incidents and service availability disruption and appropriate action protocols are in place.


About ISO 27001

ISO/IEC 27001:2005 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of the organization's overall business risks. It specifies requirements for the implementation of security controls customized to the needs op individual organizations or parts thereof.

January 10th, 2012 - [In Dutch] iWelcome in Cloudworks Magazine

iWelcome wordt beschreven in het decembernummer van het toonaangevende blad Cloudworks. Het artikel gaat in op enerzijds de beweegredenen om voor organisaties te kiezen voor een cloud gebaseerde Identity & Access Management (IAM) oplossing en anderzijds gaat het artikel in op hoe iWelcome deze behoefte invult met haar oplossingen. 


De SaaS oplossing van iWelcome dekt tachtig tot negentig procent van de klantbehoefte af en hiermee verwacht iWelcome IAM beslissingstrajecten te kunnen terugbrengen tot enkele weken of maanden. November 7th, 2011 - [In Dutch] iWelcome sluit nieuwe gemeentes aan op eHerkenning. 

iWelcome heeft naar aanleiding van het faillissement van Diginotar binnen aanzienlijk korte termijn 2 nieuwe gemeentes mogen verwelkomen. Zowel de gemeente Tilburg als de gemeente Rijssen zijn nu middels de iWelcome eHerkenningsmakelaar aangesloten op eHerkenning. Lees hier het volledige persbericht in PDF.


November 1st, 2011 - [In Dutch] Het programma front office van de gezamenlijke provinces start pilot met eHerkenning.

Het programma Front-Office (wordt gefaciliteerd door het InterProvinciaal Overleg (IPO)), dat in opdracht van de gezamenlijke provincies een pilot eHerkenning uitvoert heeft er recent voor gekozen deze pilot uit te voeren in samenwerking met iWelcome. Hiermee geven de provinces uitvoering aan de afspraken die zijn gemaakt in het kader van het zogenaamde NUP-Progamma. October 28th, 2011 - Seneca and iWelcome sign deal for eRecognition

iWelcome and Seneca just finished the formal process of signing a partner agreement enabling Seneca's customers to engage with eRecognition (in Dutch: eHerkenning) in a simpler way at lower costs.


eRecognition is a fast growing authentication service from the Dutch Government enabling businesses to interact online and directly with the (local) government in an efficient and highly secure way. iWelcome delivers the technical platform broker for this service, so called the iWelcome eRecognition Broker. July 1st, 2011 - [In Dutch] iWelcome in Cloudworks Magazine met de eHerkenningsmakelaar

Eind mei heeft Everett haar 'identity as a service' platform iWelcome gelanceerd. iWelcome zorgt ervoor dat gebruikers veilig, gecontroleerd en gepersonaliseerd toegang tot 'software as a service' applicaties hebben. De eHerkenningsmakelaar is specifiek ontwikkeld voor overheidsorganisaties en vervangt DigiD voor bedrijven. Geschreven door Hans Vandam, freelance journalist.

June 20th, 2011 - Omgevingsloket online enabled by iWelcome eRecognition Broker

Omgevingsloket Online’ (OLO) the digital desk for environmental permits and licences, uses the iWelcome eRecognition Broker to authenticate and authorise companies' representative to access its services.  OLO is one of six exemplary projects of the National Implementation Program for eGovernment (NUP). 


OLO offers individuals and representatives of companies the possibility to: (1) make digital enquiries for permit or license requirements, (2) request permits or licences and to (3) follow the process of a request. Read full press release in pdf:English |Dutch.


June 1st, 2011 - Everett eRecognition broker is now iWelcome eRecognition Broker

With the introduction of Identity as a Service platform iWelcome, Everett will bring all its 'as a Service' propositions under the iWelcome brand.  This includes the eRecognition Broker services currently known as the 'Everett Herkenningsmakelaar'.


iWelcome and the iWelcome eRecognition Broker are certified by the eRecognition program.  The iWelcome eRecognition broker is used by the largest Government bodies that currently use eRecognition: The Dutch Tax Authority, the Ministries of Economy, Agriculture & Innovation, Ministry of Infrastructure & Environment and Inter Province Organisation (IPO).
