Logging & Reporting

iWelcome basically logs everything. The more information we log, the more information we can report on. And that gives you the insight you need. Whether it is to get a thorough understanding of application usage, keep track of changes to users access, for auditing purposes, or monitor for security events. iWelcome provides you with the information you need!

General

We basically log anything. These logs are stored in a secure location and provide the necessary data for us to report on. We make reports available in different ways:

  • From within the Identity Portal: you can run reports at any time. It will be presented in the interface, but you can export the report as well in PDF, HTML, CSV, XML or Excel format.
  • Scheduled: you can schedule reports and automatically send it in the required format to a specified email address.
  • Through our iWelcome Identity App: a native iPhone or Android application that provides the most essential iWelcome functionality on-the-go as long as you have a wifi or 3G internet connectivity.

Security events

Any security related event is stored securely in iWelcome. You can run reports on these events, just like any other report. But since you probably want to take immediate action we offer following functionality:

  • Ad-hoc and scheduled reports.
  • Real-time information in the iWelcome Identity Portal.
  • Push notifications to our iWelcome Identity App.

Some examples of the type of events iWelcome can report on are account changes, password changes and resets, failed authentication attempts.

Integration

iWelcome can make log information available for use in any monitoring or support system you might have available. We can securely store log information in a database or alternatively in files.

Account information

All account changes and provisioning activity is logged. This provides you with a complete audit trail and can be used to run different types of reports.

You can run a report for a specific user, a role or all users. You can get information about accounts in iWelcome and or all accounts provisioned to specific applications. Following is an example of our reporting capability related to account information:

  • Accounts created, updated, deleted.
  • Password changes, resets.
  • Accounts disabled, created.
  • Accounts details for a specific user.
  • List of all accounts in iWelcome.
  • List of accounts with a specific role.
  • List of accounts provisioned to a specific application.

Access Governance and RBAC

A number of reports are available in iWelcome that help you achieve access compliance.

iWelcome provides you with Soll-Ist comparisons, audit trails of all major account changes but also shows who has approved those changes. Any change to the role model will be logged and can be reported on as well.
